The School of Healing Arts offers courses and certification programs, approved by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (CaBPPVE), in massage, hypnotherapy, and nutrition. With nearly 500 courses per year, including a wide variety of western and eastern massage styles, nutrition, cooking, herbology, energetic healing, hypnotherapy, communication, movement, and personal growth classes, our diversity offers opportunities for all interested in the holistic health field.

Seymour Koblin is the founder and director of the School of Healing Arts in San Diego. He has been presenting classes and workshops in Zen-Touch™ Shiatsu and Eastern Healing since 1984. Zenergize™ sessions include a personal (non-medical) Lifestyle Reading based on the energy flow moving through one's body. "Zenergize™" integrates human behavior and lifestyle patterns with the "5 Elements" (water, tree, fire, earth, metal), an ancient energy model that parallels the seasons of the year. Extremes in one's patterns of daily living can be assessed by your practitioner and pointed out in a compassionate and inspiring way. Physical (diet, exercise), Emotional (relationships — professional/personal) and Philosophical (life attitude) recommendations that will enhance one's ability to live a more fulfilling life can all be included in a session.

Many ancient cultures recognized how the relationship between the sun, moon, stars and the earth has created profound influences on every aspect of life. The relationship of the sun to the earth creates the day and seasonal cycles. The earth's relationship to the moon affects the flow of ocean tides. More births occur on the full moon while more deaths occur on the new moon. Women's menstruation cycle, an inner tide reflecting the movement of the body's internal ocean-the blood-usually falls on the full or new moon cycle approximately every 28 days.
